Mixo-logic’s Paul Lambert attended a seminar in Belfast hosted by Gary Reagan and David Wondrich.

Gary spoke about drinks that shouldnt be made but actually taste good!!!

David spoke about historical drinks like the Artillery punch, Clover Club, Improved Whiskey Cocktail.

It wa a great night attended by bartenders from North and South and by guys from the UK too.

Mixo-logic Flairtenders performed at a Camel Cigarettes night in Tivoli Theatre last night(24th) the guys gave a ten minute display as part of the night and the guys went down a storm!!!!

Mixo-logic’s Paul Lambert gave a class to the female members of Time Venue in Naas last Sat. (22nd Nov) The class was a thank you to the  lady members from TIME and included getting the ladies to make recipes with Paul. The climax of the night though, was making a luxurious Champagne Cocktail with XO Cognac and Dom Perignon 2000. This divine drink went down a hit with the girls as everyone got to sample a version of this drink.

We recommend you check out TIME for a good night out. Also a big thank you to the staff there who were extremley helpful.

Congratulations to John Paul Keating, who works in SABA, who won the Irish Heat of the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition. JP now goes to London in Feb to compete against the rest of the UK Regional Winners. His recipe will also be included in the 2009 volume of the Bacardi Cocktail Book.

2 of Saba’s bartenders, JP and Karim, qualified in the top ten recipes of the Irish heat of the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competiton. They have sinced been judged, along with nine other bartenders from around Ireland on how to make a classic daiquiri and also on their own recipe. One bartender will be chosen to represent Ireland in the final, in London next Feburary. Good luck guys!!!!!

Mixo-logic provided cocktails at the launch party of Miele Cookware Showroom in Citywest on Thurs. We created two cocktails that were colour coded to match the brand.
